CABBAGE DOSA

How are you doing? Hoping everyone is great and having fun in life. 


Today as the title of my blog already depicts, am writing down the recipe for cabbage dosa. Before that we will see how is cabbage for our health!!!


Cabbage as you all know is excellent source of vitamin C, also used in many forms such as in salads, dal, soups, sandwich, roties, curries etc. Cabbage also helps in reducing ulcers, boosts in reducing cancer cells and also inhibits production of thyroid cells.Hence cabbage should be used in our diet very often. 

Now lets see how is cabbage dosa made;



Ingredients:
1/2 Cabbage - grated
Salt

Rice flour- 1 cup
Wheat flour/ suji- 1 cup
Onion chopped - 1 -2
Coriander leaves chopped


For Masala-
Green chillies-4
Red chillies-3-4
Coriander seeds- 2 spoon
Jeera-1tsp
Garlic- 3-4 cloves
Ginger- small piece
Hing- pinch
Tamarind pulp- 2spoons
Channa dal soaked in water for 2 hrs -1 cup

Method-

  • Firstly grind all the masala ingredients into paste with little water.
  • Add the masala in a vessel along with cabbage, flours, salt, onions, coriander leaves and mix well with enough water like a medium batter.
  • Heat a pan , grease oil, pour the batter and spread like any other dosa.
  • Once its done can serve with butter or curd. Easy to make and Ready to eat....
