Do any of the married couple know what are the steps/ promises they make when taking seven rounds across the sacred fire (where god witness the marriage and blesses the wedding couple)? I guess not many!!! Not me at least.... So let's see what are they!!!! These are the values which are followed to lead a happy life.... First step is taken to earn and provide a living for their household. Second step is taken to build physical, mental and spiritual powers and to lead a healthy lifestyle. Third step is taken to earn and increase the wealth by righteous and correct means. fourth step is taken to acquire knowledge, happiness and harmony by mutual love, respect, understanding and faith. The fifth step is taken to have children for whom they will be responsible, all of them healthy,righteous and brave. Sixth step for self control and longevity. Last and final step is taken to be true to each other, loyal and remain life long companions by the wedlock.
