What to wear to an interview? especially now in recession!! Play safe>>>>

I was reading some articles from yahoo when suddenly my eyes went on the topic" How to dress for an interview during recession"? Lets see below:

What is recession?
"Recession" means a significant decline in [the] economic activity spread across the country, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP growth, real personal income, employment (non-farm payrolls), industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales.

Recession is right now taking place due to which many people are losing their jobs and many are finding new ones but so hard to find one or hard to get into!!!

It's tricky to know what to wear in a recession if you are job-hunting, but the advice from professionals is to play it safe and formal.In boom times, wearing casual or quirky clothes to an interview could suggest a free-thinking, risk-taker.Lets have some information or tips on dressing for interview so that employer or interviewer may not reject for the dressing... Just some tips

For Men;
  • Charcoal Grey or navy suit.
  • Formal style, but not old-fashioned - three buttons with a high-break (where the lapels cross-over)
  • Pale shirt, white, off-white or very pale blue or pale pink.
  • A silk tie with polka dots or small geometric pattern.
  • Black socks
  • Black lace-up shoes
  • Shaved cleanly
For Ladies;
  • A matching skirt suit or dress and jacket, not trousers - they are regarded as less formal.
  • Shirt with button-down collar - a collar carries more authority than no collar.
  • Plain navy or black court shoes with heels.
  • Skin color tights
  • A woman also needs to be careful about now showing too much flesh - thigh, upper arm and cleavage.
  • Proper Make-up but avoid bright pink glossy nails and garish lipstick.
