peas cum cauliflower paratha
Hello How are you guys?.. Its been a long time since i blogged and reason is i was busy with exam preparations... Two days back am done with CA inter exams, so now time to relax...
which means having fun, explore new ways in cooking, exploring new places, reading new books(new knowledge) and so on...........
Today as I was checking my fridge as to what to prepare for evening,I found packet of frozen peas, had few pieces of Gobi as well....so i decided to make peas cum cauliflower paratha.
First I decided to do stuffed but its very common so I tried making paratha with peas cum cauliflower mixture. Lets see how it goes:
Ingredients:-
Frozen peas- 1 cup
Cauliflower cut pieces- around 10
Coriander powder- 2spoons
Jeera powder- 2 spoons
Red chilly powder- as per taste
Turmeric-1 spoon
Salt-Taste wise
Garlic- 3-4 pieces
Wheat flour- to prepare chapati
Ghee/Oil
Steps to prepare-
1. Pressure cook peas and cauliflower to 3 whistles.
2. Grind to paste with garlic once cool- with less water(if required only)
3. In a vessel put wheat flour as per requirement for chapati/paratha, salt, red chilly powder, turmeric, coriander and Jeera powder.
4. Add the grinded mixture.
5.Make the paratha batter, mix well.
6.Make equal sized balls, smear them with dry flour and roll them out on a rolling board.
7.Heat the pan,and put the paratha on it, Apply Ghee.
8. Once done, serve paratha with raita ( tomato, curd, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies slit, carrot grated, cucumber grated).
Have fun.... Enjoy....
