chukkudkaya/ Indian Broad Beans Curry

Am back with new recipe.   Its a simple recipe which can be served with rice/ chapati.... and that is chukkudkaya/ Indian Broad Beans Curry.  Lets go short and see how it is cooked!!! Ingredients: chukkudkaya/ Indian Broad Beans Curry- 1/2 kg ginger- half piece green chillies- 5-6 salt to taste For seasoning- oil 2-3tsp mustard seeds 1tsp jeera 1tsp red chillies 2-3 Channa dal 1tsp urad dal 1tsp curry leaves Here it goes: first grind the green chillies and ginger together to a paste. heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. when it splutters, add remaining seasoning items. once done add the ginger chillies paste and let fry for 2 mins now add chukkudkaya/ Indian Broad Beans Curry and cook it for 5-7 min with salt in medium flame. its ready. serve with rice/ chapati. Its simple and faster to cook. So enjoy................. Bye!!! Take care!!!

Hello Friends, How are you doing? Hoping everyone is great and having fun in life.  Today as the title of my blog already depicts, am writing down the recipe for cabbage dosa. Before that we will see how is cabbage for our health!!! gongura /sorrel leaves chutney

Hello friends, Today I am going to prepare a very famous Andhra dish. Its almost prepared in very occasion in AP. Guess what it could be!!!!!! its Gongura pachadi.. It is made of Gongura/ sorrel leaves , below is the picture... Lets see how to prepare the chutney our of this. Ingredients required Gongura leaves 1tsp methi seeds pinch of hing salt to taste green/red chillies- 7-8 Method Firstly these leaves are to be separated from stem and thoroughly wash and dry them. Next in a pan put 1-2 spoons of oil, pinch of hing, methi seeds, and chillies and let them fry, Remove and set aside. Again in same pan fry the leaves till the raw smell goes.Let it cool. Now grind the fried leaves and fried chillies mixture with salt. Its ready to be served with rice and accompanied by onion pieces.

Grand mom's home remedies

Hello all, Below are few home remedies for curing some of the common illness. I was reading some magazine and came across. I would like to share. For cold/cough- 1. Add 3-4 dry dates to half cup of water and half cup of milk. Boil this and bring it to half. Drink during night. 2.Take 1tsp black pepper with little ginger juice and 2-3 drops of lemon juice. Can take this 2-3 times a day. For Indigestion: 1.Dry roast asafoetida(hing) and take it with hot water. 2.Ajwain and salt to be chewed and taken with hot water . In case of any injury ,you can apply pure ghee with turmeric powder. Will see you soon with more information. Till then take care.

Hello, My second recipe is somewhat similiar to previous on i.e rotti but different ingredients and taste.It is made of ridge gourd  Many people don't like, even me too.. But I like beerakai rotti.. We will see how it is made Ingredients: Ridge gourd peeled- 3-4 grated Wheat flour-1 cup Rice flour- 3/4th cup Suji- 1/2 cup Salt Onions-2 finely chopped Chopped curry leaves Coriander leaves For masala: Channa dal- 1 cup soaked in water for 1/2 hr before Peel of ridge gourd boiled Red chilles-4 Greeen chilles - as per taste Coriander seeds - 2tsp Jeera- 1/2 tsp Garlic pods- 5-6 Ginger - small piece Hing- a pinch Tamarind paste Banana laef( optional) Method-  1. Grind coursely all the masala ingredients together without water.  2. Mix the flours, masala, and other ingredients and make a thick batter.  3. Hello everyone.... Long time. Hope everyone is doing fine. Am also doing great. This time I will be presenting some kind of rotti ( not chapati, but mix of flours and vegetables) so there is no extra work of preparing curry separately.You can make with things at home. Lets see how it goes Ingredients: Wheat flour- 1cup Rice flour-3/4th cup Bombay Rava/Suji- 1/2 cup Onions- 2 or 3 Curry leaves Chopped green chillies Salt Banana leaf spreading the batter Recipe- 1 First mix all the above ingredients with enough water and make into thick batter so that it can be spread in banana leaf.. It should not be too sticky/watery.You can also add grated vegetables such as cabbage, carrots etc, its optional. 2 Spread the batter in banana leaf as in pic. 3 Switch on pan, grease little oil, and put the banana leaf ( with spread batter) into pan upside down so that batter get stick to pan. 4.
